Zip lining in Cape Town

Spend any time around Table Mountain and you’ll see evidence of a plethora of adventure activities like paragliding or abseiling. Most Capetonians know of these, but surprisingly few know about zip lining or zipline adventures around the Cape. They look a blast, and if this is a bucket list item, then get out there!


Located in Silvermist Estate, Constantia, this adventure is surprisingly accessible from the city, and only requiring about two hours for the full experience.

Cape Town Ziplines is ideally situated in Cape Town and accessible from all major transport route including the Hop-on, Hop-off City Sightseeing Cape Town Bus. This privately owned property “Silvermist Estate” has a number of facilities including a restaurant – conference facilities and other team building options as well to cater for groups – or individual bookings. This is one of Africa’s longest and highest Zipline tours based in Cape Town.

Alternatively, if you don’t mind traveling a bit further outside of Cape Town, take a zip line tour in the beautiful Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve heritage site near Elgin.
